영문 초록

This study aims to examine ways to develop bed design with reclining headboards in order to enhance effective use of multifunctional beds. While rooms were mainly used for sleep back in the days, now a variety of activities take place in bedrooms. In line with such trends, the domestic furniture companies have recently unveiled new bed design with reclining headboards. Yet a number of common problems such as hardware defects, noise and jammed hands occur regularly. In this regard, the author intends to propose ways to address better reclining structures without using steel hardwares.
