불교의 자성(自性)과 키에르케고르의 자아(自我) 비교 분석을 통한 인간의 자아 재조명

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 불교의 자성과 키에르케고르 자아의 공통성과 차이점을 분석하여 인간의 자아를 재조명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 불교의 『중송』, 『육조단경』과 키에르케고 르의 자아를 내용으로 한 선행연구를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 다음과 같이 나타났다. 불 교에서 인간의 자아는 신과 무관한 독립적이며, 선성설적 입장이라며 키에르케고르는 실 존주의 시대의 불확실성을 반영하여 인간의 자아는 종교적 입장에서 신과의 관계에 의해 설명하고자 하는 차이점이 나타났다. 결론적으로 인간의 자아에 대해 불교에서는 자신의 내부에서 자성을 찾는 것을 강조하고, 키에르케고르는 ‘내가 스스로 느끼는 내 자체’가 자아라고 강조하고 있다. 따라서 불교와 키에르케고르의 인간의 진정한 자성과 자아는 외부적인 요소도 중요하지만, 자신의 내적인 요소에 좌우한다는 것이다. 그러므로 자신 의 자아를 찾기 위해 항상 반성적으로 자신을 돌아보고 성찰할 수 있는 역량을 갖추는 것이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to re-examine the human self by analyzing thecommonalities and differences between the Buddhist self and Kierkegaard's self. Forthis purpose, we analyzed the Buddhist 『Jungsong』, 『The Six-Party Sutras』, andprevious studies with Kierkegaard's self as content. As a result of the analysis, itappeared as follows. In Buddhism, Kierkegaard said that the human ego isindependent of God and has a nemantic position. Reflecting the uncertainty of theexistentialist era, the difference between the human ego and the relationship withGod appeared from a religious standpoint. In conclusion, with respect to the humanself, Buddhism emphasizes finding one's self within oneself, and Kierkegaardemphasizes that 'my self that I feel for myself' is the self. Therefore, according toBuddhism and Kierkegaard, the true self and self of man depend on internal factorsas well as external factors. Therefore, it suggests that it is necessary to always havethe ability to reflect and reflect on oneself in order to find one's self.
