영문 초록

The objective of this study is to provide how to adopt the license system of a culture and art manager in various fields of an art management to be as an occupation range. In this study, it is possible to identify with both concepts of the license system and the training program of art managers at one hand, and to intend to integrate them into one ultimate goal for an optimum model of the license and training system in Korea. This paper will provide a practical way to adopt the license system, ultimately aiming to enhance a culture and art in Korea. This paper consists of five chapters: 1. Introduction(purpose, method and extent of the study) 2. The practical and statistical methodology of cultural administrators and arts managers 3. The analysis of foreign case for license system and art management training program 4. A suggestion of a license system of Korean model for art management and management training program 5. A conclusion The demand of art manager can be increased about more than twenty-five thousand in 2011 in Korea. In spite of the importance and demand of arts managers, a training program of art manager is not enough and efficient. It will be needed to settle the programs about cultural policy, arts management and cultural administration. All the staffs of this field must have comprehensive knowledge of culture and aesthetic sensibility. Accordingly, it is suggested to establish arts management course in the undergraduate level as well as graduate school of university. It will be needed to help each other between all the departments of the university including the department of business administration, and the department of arts or cultural studies. Conclusively, It is intended to stick to one clear prime theme of this paper, throughout a study and work on this paper, to define an optimum model of Korean license system of culture and art management and training program, based on increasing demand of professional staff in culture and art organization, will be met with highly diversified levels of culture consumers. So as for training of cultural administrators government must recognize importance of the personnel and carry out legal and institutional alternatives. It is needed to introduce certification for professional art manager and related staff. In relation of the license, the government admit all the art managers to be as an occupation range. This paper could lead to final practical solution and suggestions for optimum policy measures to be taken for a new model of license system of culture and art management in Korea.
