영문 초록

This studies were made to obtain the basic information for the successful selection of early varieties of F₁, hybrids. Among the characters in the early stage of growth, it was days to flowering (X₁) and seedling height (X₂) that had high correlation with early yield (Y). Their partial correlation coefficients were rY(l.2)=-0.760 and rY(2.1)=0.075, respectively and multiple correlation coefficient was rY(12)=0.807. Accordingly it was assumed that both days to flowering and seedling height were the main factors controlling the early yield the first factor contributing much more.
