영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to review the perception of reality in short novels directly after the 1945 liberation. Korean literature bloomed in the days before the liberation in 1945. After the liberation, however, Korean literature had an ideological conflict. There was an intervention of both the Soviet Union and the United States. In that given situation, the development of pure arts was difficult Therefore, one needs to examine the perception of reality at that time. This study considers the literary works of short stories after the 1945 liberation to understand the fundamental problems of the complex society in those days.
