영문 초록

This study intended to find out responses of farms through regional economic revitalization by special zone of sustainable agriculture through its designation for the region and its residents, especially for the environmentally friendly rice farms, and to suggest implications of this policy overall. Factor analysis was performed to find out the impacts of the agricultural special zone upon regional economic revitalization. The most important factors were improvements of living environment (factor 1), revitalization of environmentally sustainable agriculture (factor 2), and income improvement (factor 3). Accumulated dispersion of these three factors was 71.5%. According to the regression results to analyze the impacts of factors, factor 2 was turned out to be more important than factor 1 and both factors showed a positive(+) influence. According to the responses of environmentally friendly rice farms, they were very active in areas of production and marketing, but they were less active in the areas of guaranteeing products of environmentally friendly agriculture and introducing the system of traceability, which could satisfy the demands for safe and sound farm products and build up consumers confidence. Future issues to be solved are expanding environmentally friendly agriculture, financial procurement, improvement of farm income, cooperation between government and farmers. Also, more positive efforts should be made in guaranteeing environmentally friendly agricultural products for the safe food and in introducing the system of traceability.
