영문 초록

There is a national interest of keeping one’s territory for the people, as well as the human right of living comfortably in one’s own country and choosing a habitable place in one’s land. The way to pursue these 3 interests in a market economy is one of the bigger issues being faced by our country in this century. The main principle of solving this issue is creating a similar living condition throughout Mongolia; and from the examples of other countries, one of the best ways to implement this is through the regional development. In this article, the scientific description of “region,” put forth by western and domestic thinkers is discussed along with my personal ideas on this issue. Although, the regional issue is being discussed internally, it is vital to specify a solid basis and a direction to drive the issue.
