영문 초록

According to the coastal improvement basic plan, the coastal improvement projects have been continued since 2000. The coastal improvement projects are divided into two groups based on the aim : coastal prevention, creation of waterfront space. The coastal prevention project which aims to protect and maintain the damaged coastal comprise a large proportion of whole projects. This study aims to understand the present situation of demand of the coastal prevention project and propose some improvements. As a result, construction of hard structures and beach nourishment comprise a large proportion of whole demands. For the purpose of establishing the effective coastal prevention policy, prior examination about coastal improvement facilities and monitering about damaged coastal area are indispensable. In addition, stable supply plan of sand need to be established.
