영문 초록

The Shen Newspaper Office began its novel collecting activity in the year of 1874. The activity gave the first place to the ancient novels that someone collected and stored up. On the process, the owner of the Newspaper Office not only gave books or money to the providers and the authors as rewards, but also got in touch with them by letters. The novel collecting activity fit to the novel's publishing environment and the people's attitude in that time, so it was very successful. In the early of 20th century, the Business Publishing House and the other Publishing House began their novel collecting activities. Those activities paid attention to the original novels that wrote by the person who live in that time. Most of persons care of and take part in. In the year of 1905, the Shen Newspaper Office still collected the ancient novels that like 3) years ago. But it is fail at last because it violated the times require and the modern novel's tendency.
