영문 초록

The political speech is a kind of linguistic performance functioning as a way of persuasion and propaganda. Therefore, this study deals with four Egyptian public speakers' speech texts to probe into the characteristic style as a genre of the Arabic prose. To this end, this study will employ the statistic linguistics as a tool of analysis, focusing on some linguistic elements on the lexical, syntactic and sentence levels.
