영문 초록

The vocabulary have reflecting the social change and its' feature and structure, a vocabulary have been considered as one of the best tools to observe the language situation and the social change. Arabic speaking community have provided the appropriate circumstances to study the relation of the vocabulary with the social structure. Since AD 7 century, Arab Islamic society have changed rapidly from nomadic society to settlement and from oral culture to record culture within one hundred years. Beginning the Islamic era, the many new vocabularies the Arab didn't know were demanded to run the Islamic empire. Therefore the medieval Arab Islamic scholars coined the new vocabulary to meet the advanced nation and the social demands through the analogy(qiyās), derivation(ʔIstiqāq) based the analogy and the Arabization. In this paper, I will research the main methods for the Arabic codification and its criterions used the Arab Islamic scholars. Through this paper, I also expect to understand not only the standard for Arabic codification but also fundamental features in Arabic language.
