국문 초록

이 연구는 정신지체학교에서 체육을 지도하는 교사의 경험을 토대로 현재 정신지체학교에서 일어나고 있는 교사들의 체육수업에 관한 경험을 분석하는데 목적이 있다 구체적으로 '정신지체학교에서 체육을 지도하는 교사의 체육수업 경험에 관한 중심 현상은 무엇이며, 중심 현상을 둘러싼 교사들의 생각, 상황, 맥락은 어떠한가?’를 연구 문제로 근거이론 방법을 통해 분석하였다 연구 참여자는 정신지체학교에 서 체육교과를 지도한 경험이 있는 초등특수교사 5명, 중등특수교사 6명, 총 11명의 교사를 선정하고, 반 구조화된 질문지를 통해 개별 심층면담을 실시하였다 연구결과, 129개의 개념, 37개의 하위 범주, 13개의 상위 범주가 나타났다 개념의 범주화를 바탕으로 축코딩에서는 패러다임 모형과 과정분석을 통해 시간에 따른 변화과정이 생성되었다 선택코딩에서는 생성된 핵심범주를 토대로 교사가 보이는 행동패턴 유형을 분석한 결과 '인력 확보형’, '활동 내 조정형’, '타협형’을 발견하였으며, 근거 자료를 통합하여 개인차원, 학교차원, 국가차원의 상황모형을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 축코딩, 선택코딩을 토대로 정신지체학교에서 체육교과 지도시 나타나는 다양한 상황과 그에 따른 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze experiences of teachers in physical education at special schools for the mentally retarded. Specifically, it analyzes the research problem - What is the central phenomenon and thought, situation, and context of teachers regarding the teachers' experience of physical education in special school for mentally retarded students? - based on the grounded theory method. For study participants, five elementary and six secondary special education teachers who have experience in teaching physical education at a special school for the mentally retarded were selected and one-to-one interview was conducted through semi-structuralized questionnaire. The result showed 129 concepts, 37 sub-categories, and 13 superordinate categories. Based on the categorization of concepts, in the axial coding, paradigm model and change process by time were created. In the selective coding, core categories, type analysis, and situational model were created. As a core category, 'moving toward a good physical education class situation beyond a chaotic physical education class situation' was found. Based on the core situation, as a result of analysis of types according to behavioral patterns of the teachers, 'staff recruitment type,' 'adjustment in behavior type,' and 'compromise type' were discovered. Also, a situational model at individual, school, and national levels were proposed by integrating the evidence. Lastly, based on the conclusions from the axial and selective coding, various situations and implications were suggested regarding teaching physical education at a special school for the mentally retarded.
