저자(글) Pan Lusheng

Pan Lusheng(潘鲁生), Ph.D. in Art, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and the President of
the Shandong University of Art & Design. His academic pursuits are rooted in extensive field
research, focusing on the theoretical studies of art, design, and folk art, with a commitment to
establishing “folk art studies” as a formal discipline. He has authored influential works such as A
General Introduction to Folk Art Studies, On Design, and Folk Arts and Crafts.
Recognized as a leading national talent in philosophy and social sciences and a recipient of the
State Council Special Allowance, Professor Pan has earned numerous prestigious accolades,
including the “Five-One Project Award” and first prize for the “National Social Science Fund
Project Excellent Achievement.” He actively engages in design education and the preservation
of folk art, serving as the chief editor for the Compendium of Chinese Folk Craftsmanship and
chief expert for major national social science fund projects in art. His artistic and design works
have been featured in the 7th to the 13th National Art Exhibitions and showcased in renowned
international museums, including the Louvre Museum, the Picasso Museum, and at the 52nd
Venice Biennale.

번역 Liu Xiaoyang

Liu Xiaoyang(刘晓杨), currently serves as Lecturer in Visual Communication Design at the
School of Art, Ludong University, and Director of the Jiaodong Folk Art Research Center.
Earned a Ph.D. in Design from the Department of Formative Arts and Design, Kunsan National
University, South Korea in 2024. In terms of academic achievements, two papers have been published
in Korea Core Journals (KCI) and three in Chinese Core Journals; additionally, participation
in four international academic conferences has been undertaken. Design works have been
exhibited at the Gwangju Design Biennale, the Exhibition of the Visual Information Design
Association of Korea, and the Exhibition of the Korea Women Graphic Designers Association.
