Peter B. Kyne (1880-1957) was an American novelist and journalist. Born in San Francisco and living most of his life in California, he is known for his vivid depictions of the Wild West and California life.
He was a very commercially successful writer, and many of his works were made into Hollywood films. His most famous works include "The Valley of the Giants" (1918) and "The Go-Getter" (1921).
