국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등영어 학습자의 글로벌 리터러시 기반 글로벌 시민의식 함양을 위해 예비교사의 수업을 설계·구현하는 방안을 마련하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해, 서울교육대학교 2025년 3학년 1학기 영어교육론 강좌에 수강한 19명의 수업지도안들 중 글로벌 리터러시 기반 글로벌 시민교육과 관련된 수업 목표 또는 수업과제나 활동들을 설계·구현한 3명의 수업지도안을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 예비교사가 설정한 활동들은 문화적 배경이 다른 사람들의 가치, 규준, 신념 등 심층 문화에 대한 인식을 높이는 데 한계가 있었다. 수업에 활발히 참여할 수 있도록 스케폴딩의 계획을 구체화하지 못하였고, 글로벌 이슈나 다양한 문화에 대해 자신의 생각이나 의견을 표현하는 활동이 부족하였다. 이에, 글로벌 시민의식을 함양하기 위해서는 학습자들 간 짝별·모둠별 토론·협력을 통해 글로벌 이슈나 다양한 문화와 관련한 스크립트를 만들고 스토리텔링이나 실연을 활발하게 할 수 있는 교수·학습 및 평가 방법을 고려한 수업 설계·방법을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest a method of designing and implementing classes for pre-service teachers to cultivate global citizenship based on global literacy. To do this, pre-service teachers’ lesson plans were analyzed in the aspect of global citizenship. It was shown in the result of the analysis that ①the activities set by the pre-service teachers had limitations in raising awareness of in-depth culture such as values, standards, and beliefs of people from different cultural backgrounds, ②the plan for scaffolding was not specified so that they could actively participate in the classes, and ③there was a lack of activities to express their thoughts or opinions in pairs and groups from a mutually subjective perspective on global issues or various cultures. In order to foster global citizenship, it was suggested that teaching-learning and assessment methods of improving their global citizenship through discussion and cooperation among learners in pair and groups need to be designed in designing activities such as storytelling or role-plays.
