병원간호사의 감성지능, 사회지능, 의사소통능력이 환자중심간호에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 병원간호사의 감성지능, 사회지능, 의사소통능력이 환자중심간호에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이들 간의 관계를 확인하고자 시행되었다. 본 연구는 2021년 7월 1일부터 2021년 9월 17일까지 대학병원 및 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사 146명을 대상으로 시행되었다. 자료수집은 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 왜도, 첨도, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé 사후검정, Pearson 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 감성지능은 7점 척도로 전체 평균은 4.91(±0.67)점, 사회지능은 5점 척도로 전체 평균은 3.42(±0.36)점, 의사소통능력은 5점 척도로 전체 평균은 3.59(±0.38)점, 환자중심간호는 5점 척도로 전체 평균은 3.62(±0.41)점으로 나타났다. 환자중심간호는 감성지능(r=0.47, p<.001), 사회적 지능(r=0.36, p<.001), 의사소통능력(r=0.55, p<.001)과 유의한 정적상관관계를 보였다. 환자중심간호에 영향을 미치는 요인은 의사소통능력(β=0.47, p<.001)과 감성지능(β=0.24, p=.008)으로 나타났으며, 설명력은 32.9%(F=24.73, p<.001)였다. 본 연구를 통해 병원간호사의 감성지능과 의사소통능력을 향상시키는 것이 환자중심간호를 증진시키는데 중요함을 확인하였으며, 이러한 역량 강화를 위한 교육프로그램의 필요성이 제기된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify qualities necessary for effective patient-centered nursing by examining the effects of hospital nurses’ emotional intelligence, social intelligence, and communication skills on patient-centered care. A total of 146 nurses from four hospitals participated in this study, with data collected through self-report questionnaires between July 1 and September 17, 2021. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 for descriptive analysis, skewness, kurtosis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, the Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Significant positive correlations were found between patient-centered care and emotional intelligence (r=0.47, p<.001), patient-centered care and social intelligence (r=0.36, p<.001), and patient-centered care and communication skills (r=0.55, p<.001). The factors influencing patient-centered care were communication skills (β=0.47, p<.001) and emotional intelligence (β=0.24, p=.008). The explanatory power of the model was 32.9% (F=24.73, p<.001). This study found that enhancing hospital nurses' emotional intelligence and communication skills is essential for promoting patient-centered care, highlighting the need for targeted educational programs to support these competencies.
