『釋迦如來十地修行記』의 접속사 연구

국문 초록

본 논문은 『修行記』에 출현한 모든 접속사에 대하여 빈도, 어순, 의미기능 등 방면에서 전면적인 분석을 진행하였다. 아울러 동일 공시 평면에서 다른 문헌과의 비교를 통해 『수행기』 접속사의 시대적 특징을 정리하였다. 첫째, 『修行記』에는 30종의 접속사가 출현하였다. 이 중 병렬접속사는 ‘與’, ‘及’, ‘並’, ‘和’, ‘同’ 등 총 5종, 승접접속사는 ‘而1’, ‘則’, ‘然後’ 등 3종, 선택접속사는 ‘或’ 1종, 점층접속사는 ‘非但’, ‘莫謂’, ‘休言’, ‘且’, ‘何況’ 등 5종이 출현하였고, 인과접속사는 ‘爲因’, ‘故’, ‘因此’, ‘以此’ 등 4종, 전환접속사는 ‘而2’ 1종, 조건접속사는 ‘但’, ‘只是’, ‘除是’, ‘除非’ 등 4종, 가정접속사는 ‘若’, ‘如’, ‘如是’, ‘倘’ 등 4종, 양보접속사는 ‘雖’, ‘任是’ 등 2종, 목적접속사는 ‘爲’ 1종이 출현하였다. 둘째, 『修行記』에 출현한 접속사는 대부분 상고중국어 시기부터 사용된 것들이며, 중고, 근대중국어 시기 이후에 새롭게 생성된 접속사들도 일부 사용되었다. 다만 비교적 늦은 시기인 원명대 이후 새롭게 출현한 접속사들은 많이 발견되지 않았다. 셋째, 『修行記』에 출현한 전체 접속사 가운데 ‘而1’(49회), ‘同’(30회), ‘若’(20회), ‘及’(12회), ‘並’(11회) 등의 사용 빈도가 비교적 높은 편이다. 넷째, 『修行記』에 출현한 접속사 30종 가운데 17종이 단음절이며 13종이 2음절이다.

영문 초록

This paper conducted a comprehensive analysis of all conjunctions that appeared in the 『Seokgayeoraesipjisuhaenggi(釋迦如來十地修行記)』 in terms of frequency, word order, and semantic function. The results of the analysis are as follows. 30 kinds of conjunctions appeared in 『修行記』. Among them, 5 kinds of parallel conjunctions were ‘與’, ‘及’, ‘並’, ‘和’, ‘同’, 3 kinds of continuative conjunctions were ‘而1’, ‘則’, ‘然後’, 1 kind of progressive conjunctions such as ‘或’, 5 kinds of adversative conjunctions such as ‘非但’, ‘莫謂’, ‘休言’, ‘且’ and ‘何況’, 4 kinds of causal conjunctions such as ‘爲因’, ‘故’, ‘因此’ and ‘以此’, 1 kind of adversative conjunction ‘而2’, 4 kinds of conditional conjunctions such as ‘但’, ‘只是’, ‘除是’ and ‘除非’, 4 kinds of assuming conjunctions such as ‘若’, ‘如’, ‘如是’ and ‘倘’, 2 kinds of concession conjunctions such as ‘雖’ and ‘任是’ appeared, and 1 kind of purpose conjunction ‘爲’. Second, some conjunctions that appeared in 『修行記』 have been used since the Ancient Chinese period, while others have been newly used after the Middle Chinese period. Third, among all conjunctions that appear in 『修行記』, the frequency of use of ‘而1’, ‘同’, ‘若’, ‘及’ and ‘並’ is relatively high. Fourth, out of all the conjunctions that appeared in 『修行記』, 17 types are monosyllabic, and 13 types are two syllables.
