국문 초록

본 연구는 생성형 AI(GPTs)를 활용하여 한국어 학습자를 위한 인접쌍 생성 챗봇을 개발하고, GPTs가 생성한 사과 화행 인접쌍 전략을 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추었다. GPTs의 대화 생성을 통해 사과 화행에 대한 인접쌍의 전략 유형을 담화완성형 테스트(DCT)를 기반으로 다양한 상황별로 도출하고, 인접쌍을 연구하였다. 연구 결과, 공적·사적 상황, 친밀도, 사회적 지위 등의 사회적 변인이 GPTs의 인접쌍 생성에 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 특히, 공적 상황에서는 문제 해결 중심의 대안 제시 전략이 주로 사용되었으며, 사적이면서 사회적 지위 차이가 있는 상황에서는 상대방의 체면을 회복시키는 이해 전략이 두드러졌다. 본 연구는 GPT 기반 인공지능 챗봇을 활용하여 학습자들이 실제 대화 상황에서 사용할 수 있는 전략적 도구를 제공할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study focused on developing an adjacency pair generation chatbot for Korean language learners using generative AI (GPTs) and analyzing the strategies of apology speech act adjacency pairs generated by GPTs. Through the dialogue generation of GPTs, the study identified various types of adjacency pair strategies for apology speech acts in different situations based on the Discourse Completion Test (DCT) and analyzed these adjacency pairs. The findings revealed that social variables, such as public and private contexts, intimacy, and social status, influence the creation of adjacency pairs by GPTs. Specifically, in public situations, strategies centered on presenting problem-solving alternatives were predominantly used, while in private situations with differences in social status, strategies aimed at restoring the other person’s face were more prominent. The significance of this study lies in establishing a foundation for providing learners with strategic tools they can apply in real conversational situations through the use of a GPT-based AI chatbot.
