With the rapid development of information technology, colleges and universities, as an important place for knowledge dissemination and innovation, are experiencing profound changes in their educational management mode. The traditional model of student education management has been difficult to meet the current needs. The emergence of information environment has brought new opportunities and challenges for college student education management. This paper analyzes the traditional mode and the mode under the information environment, discusses the necessity of the transformation of college students' education management mode under the information environment, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. It is found that strengthening the application of information technology in education management, improving teachers' ability of information education, establishing a perfect information education management system, optimizing the allocation of educational resources and strengthening students' information literacy training are the keys to realize this change. The implementation of these measures will help to promote the modernization process of college student education management, improve the quality of education and management efficiency.
