With the arrival of the “Internet +” era, the rapid development of information technology has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges to the education and management of students in colleges and universities. The traditional student management mode has been difficult to meet the diversified and personalized needs of modern universities, and it is urgent to optimize the management process and improve management efficiency through information technology. This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of student education and management in colleges and universities under the background of “Internet+”, and puts forward corresponding optimization paths, aiming to improve the overall effectiveness of student management through reforming management concepts, promoting online training and perfecting management information systems. Through the effective application of Internet technology, colleges and universities can not only enhance the transparency of management and resource allocation efficiency, but also better play the role of the main body of students and promote the improvement of education quality.
