국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 SNS 신체이미지 게시물이 여대생에게 미치는 부정적 영향을 알아보고 그러한 영향이 자기개념 명확성 집단 간 어떤 차이가 있는지 실험연구를 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 연구를 위해 충청도 지역 대학교 여대생 60명을 대상으로 수행되었다. 자료는 SPSS 22.0를 통해 기술통계, 반복측정 분산분석을 실시하여 검증하였다. 또한 양적 연구 결과가 갖는 한계점을 보완하기 위하여 Debriefing 인터뷰 내용을 자기개념 명확성 집단에 따라 비교, 분석하였다. 결과 분석 결과는 첫째, 여대생 자기개념 명확성 하위집단은 상위집단에 비해 SNS 신체이미지 게시물에 노출된 이후 부정정서경험 수준이 높아졌다. 둘째, 여대생 자기개념 명확성 하위집단은 상위집단에 비해 SNS 신체이미지 게시물에 노출된 이후 신체존중감이 낮아지지 않았다. 셋째, 여대생 자기개념 명확성 하위집단은 상위집단에 비해 SNS 신체이미지 게시물에 노출된 이후 더 마른 신체이미지를 이상적이라고 생각하게 되었다. 결론 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 SNS 신체이미지 게시물이 여대생의 부정정서경험과 이상적인 신체이미지 형성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 이와 같은 영향은 자기개념 명확성 집단 간 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 주요 시사점 및 후속연구에 대해 논의하고 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study were to examine the negative effects of SNS body image posting on female university students and to identify the effect differences according to the Self-concept clarity groups. Methods The study was conducted on 60 female university students. The data was verified using descriptive statistics and repeated measures analysis of variance using SPSS 22.0. In addition, to supplement the limitations of quantitative research results, the contents of the debriefing interviews were compared and analyzed by self-concept clarity group. Results The study results can be summarized as follows. First, the female university students Self-concept clarity lower group experienced negative emotional experiences after exposure to the SNS body image posting compared to the Self-concept clarity higher group. Second, the female university students Self-concept clarity lower group has not lowered body-esteem after exposure to SNS body image posting compared to the Self-concept clarity higher group. Third, the female university students Self-concept clarity lower group has perceived to think that a thinner body image was the ideal body image after exposure to SNS body image posting compared to the Self-concept clarity higher group. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, it was found that SNS body image posting affects not only female university students' negative emotion experience but also ideal body image. Furthermore, it was also confirmed that the effects were dependent on the Self-concept clarity. Finally, implications and suggestions for the future studies were discussed.
