학위논문의 수사적 맥락에서 대학원 유학생의 필자 정체성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 강한 저자성이 요구되는 학위논문에 주목해서 대학원 유학생이 어떻게자신의 입장과 목소리를 텍스트에 구현하는지를 분석했다.이를 위해 본 연구는 필자정체성의 개념과 수사적 맥락의 범위 등을 이론적으로 검토하고 특정 수사적 맥락에서 드러나는 담화의 종류와 그 담화의 수사적 전개에 주목해서 대학원 유학생의 필자정체성 양상을 분석했다.연구 결과 ‘현황 분석’,‘문제 제기’,‘연구의 필요성 도출’과같은 특정 수사적 맥락에서 뚜렷하게 구별되는 대학원 유학생만의 지배적인 양상이드러났다.본 연구는 실제 대학원 유학생이 완성한 학위논문에서 필자의 입장과 목소리 양상을 분석하고 학위논문 지도에서 요구되는 교육적 함의점을 도출했다는 점에서 의미가 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes how international students embody their stance and voice in text, focusing on the theses that require strong authorities. For this analysis, this study theoretically examined the concept of writer identity and the scope of the rhetorical context, and analyzed the Writer Identity of international students by focusing on the specific discourse and rhetorical organization of the discourse. The results demonstrate that the dominant characteristics of international students, which is distinguished by a specific rhetorical context, was revealed. This study is meaningful because it analyzed the stance and voice of writers in theses completed by international students and derives educational implications required for thesis education.
