뇌졸중 환자의 단속성 안구운동 훈련을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 효과성 검증

국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 단속성 안구운동 훈련 프로그램(Saccadic Eye Movement Training Program)을 개발하고, 효과성을 검증하여 뇌졸중 환자의 단속성 안구운동 훈련을 위한 도구로써의 역할을 제시하고자 하였다. 방법: 본 연구는 뇌졸중 환자 26명을 대상으로 하였다. 대상자는 무작위 배정을 통해 실험군과 대조군으로 나뉘었고, King-Devick test로 초기평가를 진행하였다. 초기평가후 실험군은 기존 작업치료 중재와 단속성 안구운동 훈련프로그램 중재를 총 16회 동안 실시하였다. 대조군은 기존작업치료 중재와 추가 작업치료 중재를 실시하였다. 4주 후실험군과 대조군에게 재평가를 진행하였다. 결과: 실험군과 대조군의 중재 전·후 King-Devick test 의 시간과 오류 횟수 모두 통계학적으로 유의미한 차이를보였고(p<.05), 중재 전보다 후에 King-Devick test의 시간과오류 횟수가 감소하였다. 또한, 중재 후 실험군의 King-Devick test 시간과 오류 횟수가 대조군보다 통계학적으로 유의미하게 더 낮았다(p<.05). 결론: 본 연구를 통해 단속성 안구운동 훈련 프로그램이뇌졸중 환자의 단속성 안구운동에 긍정적인 영향을 주었음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study developed a saccadic eye movement training program and attempted to verify its effectiveness as a tool for training saccadic eye movements in stroke patients. This study included 26 stroke patients. The subjects were classified into an experimental group and a control group through random allocation, and the King-Devick test was administered as the pre-test. After the pre-test, the experimental group performed an existing occupational therapy intervention and a saccadic eye movement training program intervention for a total of 16 sessions. The control group underwent existing occupational therapy and additional occupational therapy interventions. After four weeks, the experimental and control groups were re-tested. The time and number of errors in the King-Devick test before and after intervention in both groups showed statistically significant differences (p<.05), and both parameters in the King-Devick test decreased after the intervention. In addition, the time and number of errors in the King-Devick test in the experimental group after the intervention were significantly lower than those in the control group (p<.05). This study showed that the saccadic eye movement training program had a positive effect on saccadic eye movements in stroke patients.
