국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 체육관련 다문화 교육 교양강의 참여과정을 탐색함으로써 다문화와 특정 학문 영역 융합을 통한 다문화 교육의 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 체육관련 다문화 강의에 참여하는 수강생 50명의 참여 기록인 주차별 강의 후기와 과제, 수업 참여 영상, 토론 일지를 수집하고 이를 근거이론적으로 분석하여 수업을 통해 나타나는 연구 참여자들의 반응을 탐색하였다. 결과 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과는 호기심, 체육에 대한 익숙함, 다문화에 대한 선행경험에 따른 관심을 가지고 강의에 참여한 학생들은 다문화의 태도와 가치, 다문화와 체육에 대한 지식을 학습하고 다문화에 대한 심층적인 이해를 바탕으로 자신의 생각과 생활에 적용하고자 노력하는 것으로 나타났으며, 다문화와 체육이라는 새로운 학습주제의 투여단계를 거쳐 다문화와 체육에 대한 기존의 오해를 교정하고 이를 새로운 지식으로 수용하는 단계로 강의에 참여하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 체육관련 다문화교육 강의의 학생 참여과정을 통해 다양한 전공영역과의 융합화된 교양교육이 다문화교육으로 활용될 수 있을 것이란 새로운 가능성을 제안하여 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the possibility of multicultural education through the convergence of multiculturalism and specific academic fields was explored by exploring the process of college students participation in physical education-related multicultural education liberal arts lectures. Methods The responses of participants in the study were explored by collecting lecture reviews, assignments, class participation videos, and discussion journals by week, which are records of participation of 50 students participating in sports-related multicultural lectures, and analyzing them based on the grounded theory. Results The results obtained through the study showed that students who participated in the lecture with curiosity, familiarity with physical education, and interest in multiculturalism prior experience learned multicultural attitudes and values, knowledge of multiculturalism and physical education, and had an in-depth understanding of multiculturalism. Based on this, it was found that they tried to apply it to their own thoughts and lives, and through the administration stage of a new learning topic called multiculturalism and physical education, the lecture was conducted in the stage of correcting existing misunderstandings about multiculturalism and physical education and accepting it as new knowledge. Conclusions Through the student participation process of sports-related multicultural education lectures, a new possibility can be suggested that liberal arts education fused with various major areas can be used as multicultural education.
