영문 초록

East Mongolia and Korea are known to have historical and cultural ties. Accordingly, research is being conducted in many areas, and this research is one of them. To see the linguistic connection between East Mongolia and Korea at the early period, I analyzed the names of official post in the Xianbei(鮮卑) language, which is a Mongolian language. In particular, I reviewed the studies of existing scholars and expressed my opinions based on the names of official post at the Tabgach Xianbei(拓跋鮮卑). The analysis of the names of official post in the Xianbei language reveals that the word Jin(眞) or -čin is widely used to represent a profession. However, this suffix is believed highly to be connected the ‘찬(湌)’, which appears the names of official post in Silla(新羅). In addition, the word aq-a used to represent a brother in modern Mongol appears the same word in the Koguryo(高句麗), Xianbei and Silla language. As shown in the Records of the History of the Three Kingdoms(三國史記) , Koguryo continued to interact with Xianbei in neighboring countries. Accordingly, it is necessary to use Koguryeo s language materials for future study. It is also necessary to study the northern languages, including the Xianbei language, for the study of the Korean language at the early period.
