간호대학생의 생명윤리 교과목에 대한 학습자 중심 사전요구 조사 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호학과 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 문학치료적 글쓰기 도입 기법을 활용한 글쓰기 형식의 설문조사를 통해 생명윤리 교과목에 대한 보다 심층적인 학습자 요구를 조사하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 W시 소재 간호학과에 재학 중인 1학년 학생 50명을 대상으로 2020년 8월 20일부터 9월 6일까지 문학치료적 글쓰기 도입 부분을 활용한 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하고, 현상학적 방법 중 Colaizzi 분석방법으로 분석하였다. 결과 생명윤리 교과목에 대한 사전인식 조사 결과 ‘교과목에 대한 이해’, ‘수업에 대한 기대와 두려움’, ‘직업적 이해’, ‘삶의 의미와 목표 확립’이라는 4개 범주아래 10개 주제모음 및 22개의 주제가 도출되었다. 결론 학생들은 생명윤리 수업을 통해 단순한 지식습득과 윤리적인 가치관 확립을 넘어 자기 삶의 의미와 목표 설정, 그리고 사회적 기여 부분까지 고민하고 있었다. 이를 실현하기 위한 보다 심층적인 수업방안에 대한 고민이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this research is to implement an in-depth analysis of the nursing students’ requests on bioethics lecture, based on a descriptive survey. Methods The survey, using free writing type questionnaire in the perspective of literary therapy, was conducted from August 20 to September 6 in 2020 and covered 50 freshmen, majoring in nursing, of an university in W city. The survey data were analysed by Colaizzi’s analysis method among several phenomenological ways. Results 22 themes out of 10 theme clusters which can be divided into 4 categories, comprising ‘understandings on bioethics’, ‘expectations and fears about the lecture’, ‘establishing the moral value of their future job as a nurse’, ‘understanding the meaning of life and setting their goals in life’, were drawn. Conclusions This analysis found that the students’ needs include not only a fragmentary knowledge of bioethics and establishing the moral value but also understanding the meaning of life, setting their goals in life and contributing to society. So, further considerations for more profound teaching method are needed.
