국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학교 밖 청소년이 경험하는 사회적 낙인과 자아존중감과의 관계에서 부모애착과 또래애착의 조절효과를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원이 실시한 ‘학업중단 패널’자료 중 3차년도(2015년) 자료를 사용하였으며, 분석대상은 총 549명이다. 첫째, 학령기 학교 밖 청소년의 경우 사회적 낙인과 자아존중감 간의 관계에서 부모애착의 조절효과가 유의하게 나타난 반면, 학령후기 학교 밖 청소년의 경우에는 사회적 낙인과 부모애착의 주효과만 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 학령기 이후 청소년의 경우, 사회적 낙인과 자아존중감 간의 관계에서 또래애착의 조절효과가 유의하게 나타난 반면, 학령기 학교 밖 청소년의 경우에는 사회적 낙인과 또래애착의 주효과만 유의하게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The study examined the moderating effects of parent’s attachment and peer’s attachment between social stigma and self-esteem among out-out-school youth. Using 3rd data from ‘School Dropout Panel Study’, 549 of out-out-school youth were analyzed. The major results were as follows: First, parent’s attachment moderated the relation between social stigma and self-esteem for school-aged out-of-school youth. Second, peer attachment moderated the relation between social stigma and self-esteem for after-school-aged out-of-school youth. These findings suggested it is necessary to consider both risk and protective factor to understand out-of-school youth. Also, various practical implication for future research and practice are provided.
