부의 양육참여 유형 잠재집단 분석 및 관련 가족배경 변인 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 영유아 자녀를 둔 아버지의 양육참여 유형을 분류하는 한편 이 같은 양육 유형과 관련된 가족 관련 배경이 무엇인지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 B광역시에서 620쌍의 부모를 대상(설문조사기간 23일, 설문 회수율 84%)으로 부의 양육참여, 모의 양육 효능감 및 양육스트레스, 가족 배경 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 연구문제에 따라 잠재집단분석(LCA), 일원분산분석, 다항로지스틱 회귀분석 방법을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였으며, 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부의 양육참여 유형은 3집단(양육참여 행동 및 책임감의 측면에서 모두 낮은 집단(8.6%), 보통 집단(64.0%), 높은 집단(27.5%)으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 3유형 집단 간에는 모의 양육 효능감, 양육 스트레스 수준에서 유의미한 차이를 나타내어 상호 차별성을 지닌 집단으로 볼 수 있었다. 셋째, 3유형 집단의 구분에 영향을 미치는 가족 관련 배경은 자녀의 성별, 자녀의 수, 모의 학력 변인으로 나타났다. 논의를 통하여 본 연구의 결과가 갖는 의미와 시사점 그리고 연구의 한계점과 제언을 차례로 진술하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to classify types of paternal participation in preschool children parenting and to investigate their related family background variables. For this purpose, paternal participation, maternal parenting efficacy and parenting stress and family backgrounds from parents of 620 pairs were measured. Collected data were analyzed using Latent Class Analysis, One-Way ANOVA, Logistic Regression. Major findings of the study were as follows. First, types of paternal participation in parenting were classified into three group(low group(8.6%), medium group(64%), high group(27.5%) in terms of both participation behaviors of parenting and responsibility)(8.6%). Second, there were significant differences among three groups in terms of maternal parenting efficacy and parenting stress and thus could be regarded as mutually different groups. Third, family background variables influencing demarcation of types of group were gender of child, number of child, maternal academic background. The meaning and implications of these results were discussed with comments on their limitations and suggestions.
