실생활 과제를 통한 수학영재 학생들의 통계적 소양 요소 분석

국문 초록

현대 사회에서 합리적 의사결정자가 되려면 복잡한 정보와 상황에서 수집한 통계적 자료에 근거한 해석과 판단, 통계적 추론 및 의사소통하는 통계적 소양이 필요하며, 이에 따라 실생활 기반의 통계적 소양 함양 교육의 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실생활에서의 맥락적 요소가 포함된 과제를 통해 수학영재 학생들의 통계적 소양에 관한 지식․성향 요소를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구를 바탕으로 통계적 문제 해결 과정에서 나타나는 지식․성향 요소를 추출하여 통계적 소양 요소 를 도출한 후 이를 반영한 실생활 과제 중심 통계 교수․학습 자료를 개발․적용하여 수학영재 학생들의 통계적 문제 해결 과정에서 나타나는 통계적 소양의 지식․성향 요소를 분석하고, 통계교육에서의 시사점을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 중학 교 수학영재 학생들의 통계적 소양을 확인할 수 있는 준거와 통계교육을 위한 기본자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the elements of knowledge and disposition about the statistical literacy of the mathematically gifted students through the task that includes the contextual elements in real life. For this purpose, based on the literature research, we developed an analysis framework that extracted the knowledge elements and disposition elements of statistical literacy. And the qualitative case study applied to mathematically gifted students. The results imply and confirm validities of the knowledge, dispositional elements of statistical literacy in the process of statistical problem solving. The results of this study can be used as a frame for confirming statistical literacy of students and help improving for statistical education.
