국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 자존감, 역할수행능력 및 유아 권리존중 실행의 관계 및 유아교사의 자존감이 유아 권리존중 실행에 미치는 영향에서 교사의 역할수행능력 매개역할을 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 서울 및 경기도에 위치한 유치원과 어린이집의 유아담당 교사 250명이었다. 연구를 위하여 김진숙(2009)이 개발한 영유아 권리존중보육 실행척도와 Coopersmith(1967)의 Self–Esteem Inventory(CSEI), 이경애(2010)가 재구성한 교사역할수행 평정척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS21.0프로그램을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율, 각 도구의 신뢰도 검증, one-way ANOVA검증, Pearson의 적률상관분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 자존감, 역할수행능력 및 유아 권리존중 실행의 관계는 정적 상관을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 자존감이 유아교사의 유아권리존중 실행 중 하루 일과 존중에 미치는 영향에서 교사의 역할수행능력이 부분매개하는것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 자존감이 유아권리존중 실행 중 아동 최선의 이 익에 미치는 영향에서 유아교사의 역할수행능력이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 유아교사의 역할수행능력 증진을 위한 교사교육 및 프로그램을 통해 교사의 유아권리존중 실행의 실천을 꾀할 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the relationship of teachers’ self-esteem, teacher’s role-performance ability, and early childhood teachers’ implementation status of children’s rights respects. Also analyzed effects of teachers’ self-esteem on implementation status of children’s rights respects and mediating role of teacher’s role-performance ability. The subjects consist of 250 early childhood teachers working in child care centers and kindergartens located in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0: frequency and percentage, reliability of tools, pearson’s correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, there were significant relationship among teachers’ self-esteem, and teacher’s role-performance ability, and early childhood teachers’ implementation status of children’s rights respects. Second, teacher’s role-performance ability was fully or parted mediated between teacher’s self-esteem and early childhood teachers’ implementation status of children’s rights respects.
