국문 초록

본 연구는 보육교사가 지각한 교권 기대수준과 현실수준의 인식 및 차이 분석을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 경기도 내 어린이집에 재직 중인 보육교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 교권영역별 기대수준과 현실수준 관련 자료를 수집하고 t-검 증을 통한 기대불일치 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 보육교사의 교육할 권리, 신분권, 재산권, 근로권에 관한 기대수준에 대한 인식이 현실수준보다 높은 것으로 나타나 교권에 관한 기대-현실 수준 간의 부정적 불일치가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 러한 결과는 보육의 질적인 향상을 위해서는 보육교사 권리에 대한 기대수준과 현실수준 간에 차이를 좁혀 나갈 수 있도록 지원이 필요함을 보여준다. 이를 위해서는 보육교사의 권리에 대한 올바른 인식을 높여주어야 함은 물론 보육교사 권리 존중을 위한 보육기관의 노력 및 정부의 정책적 지원이 통합적으로 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the perception and difference between the expectation level and reality level of teaching rights perceived by child care teachers. To this end, child care teachers working at daycare centers in Gyeonggi-do were surveyed to collect data on expectation-level and reality-level by teaching area and to analyze expectancy disconfirmation through t-test. As a result, the recognition of child care teacher s right to education, identity rights, property rights, and working rights was higher than the reality level, indicating that there was a negative mismatch between the expectations and the reality levels of teaching rights. These results show that to improve the quality of child care, support is needed to narrow the gap between the expectation and reality levels of child care teaching rights. This implies that the right awareness of child care teacher s rights should be raised and that the efforts of child care institutions to respect child care teacher s rights and the government s policy support should be integrated.
