음악 감상활동 실행연구를 통한 유아교사의 실천지식 쌓아가기

국문 초록

본 연구는 2017년 9월 말부터 2018년 2월 중순에 걸친 실행연구를 통해 한 공립유치원 교사의 음악 감상활동에 대한 실천과정과 이 과정에서 참여교사의 실천지식의 변화를 탐색하고자 하였다. 참여교사는 자신의 경험적 성찰과 문제인식을 바탕으로 단조로운 음악 활동유형을 탈피하고자 음악동화를 활용한 감상활동, 악기소리를 활용한 감상활동, 음색, 선율 등의 개념적 요소를 접목한 음악 감상활동을 통해 음악활동유형에 대한 확장하기를 실천해 나갔다. 음악 감상활동의 실행연구를 통해 참여교 사는 부담감 벗어나 즐거운 ‘음악하기’와 음악 감상의 변화 실행을 통한 실천지 쌓아가기, 그리고 실천 행위를 통한 ‘교사-되기’로 실천지식의 변화되는 모습을 보였다. 이러한 연구결과는 실행연구를 통해 질 높고 의미 있는 유아음악을 만들어가기 위한 교사의 성찰과 변화를 통한 끊임없는 의미 생성의 과정이 필요함을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study was to explore the praxis process and the change of practical knowledge of music listening activity made by a public kindergarten teacher through action research from the end of September 2017 to the middle of February 2018. Based on her empirical reflections and problem recognition, the participating teacher practiced the extension on the type of music activity through music listening activities by using music-related storybooks, instrumental sounds, and by grafting music conceptual elements such as tone and melody into the music appreciation to break out the monotonous music activity type. In the process of the action research, the participating teacher showed a change of practical knowledge, which were ‘musicing’ as pleasant out of the pressure, accumulation of practical knowledge through implementing changes of music listening, and ‘becoming-teacher’ through practical action. These results suggest the necessity of teachers’ reflection to make high quality and meaningful early childhood music and the process of continuous generation of meaning through change assisted by action research.
