사립유치원 교사문화에 대한 문화기술적 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사립유치원 교사들의 삶과 조직체계, 행동양식 등의 측면에서 교사문화의 특성과 현상을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2016년 7월부터 2017년 1월까지 7개월 동안 참여관찰, 심층면담, 문헌자료 분석 중심의 문화기술적 사례 연구를 수행하 였다. 연구 결과, 유치원 교사들은 원장과의 관계에서 ‘권위주의 문화’, 교사와의 관계에서 ‘따라가기 문화’, 학부모와의 관계에서 ‘갑-을 문화’, 교사의 수업에서 ‘보여주기 문화’, 교사의 교직생활에서 ‘서러움의 문화’ 등을 형성하고 있는 것으로 나타났 다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 유치원 교사들은 요구 되어지는 많은 교사역할 속에서 적응하며, 때로는 지시적인 상황에 순응하며 살아가는 모습을 보였으며, 원장의 운영 방침에 영향을 지배적으로 받는 모습이 사립유치원에 나타나는 유치원 교사문화의 중요한 특성임을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics and phenomenon of teacher’s culture in life, organizational system and behavior style of private kindergarten teachers. The subjects of this study are the teachers working in A and B private kindergarten of operated by one director. This study was conducted for seven months from July 2016 to January 2017 through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and study of documents from private kindergarten teachers as the main objects of this research project. The characteristics of teacher’s culture were revealed through this study that teachers relationship, teacher’s work process, classes and teacher’s life. According to the study, teachers formed ‘Authoritarian’ culturein in relationship with the director, ‘Buyer-Supplier’ culture in relationship with teachers, ‘Ostentation’ culture in relationship with parents, ‘Sorrow’ culture in teacher teaching. Based on the results of this study, I suggest that it can be provided as a basic data for the development and reform of early childhood education. In addition, the director and teachers should cooperate and make efforts for improve the right teacher’ culture, achieve the ultimate goal of education.
