국문 초록

본 연구는 감정표현불능성향과 폭식행동의 관계에서 사회적 문제해결능력의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 2018년 3년 1월~3월 24일까지 수도권 지역의 만 20세∼40세까지의 성인 초기 남, 녀 527명을 대상으로 감정표현불능성향, 사회적 문제해결능력, 폭식행동 척도를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 22.0으로 통계처리 하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과를 요약하면, 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인 초기의 감정표현불능성향과 사회적 문제해결능력, 폭식행동과 사회적 문제해결능력은 모두 유의미한 부적 상관관계, 감정표현불능성향과 폭식행동은 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 감정표현불능성향과 폭식행동과의 관계에서 사회적 문제해결능력의 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 연구모형과 경쟁모형을 설정하고 이를 검증한 결과, 사회적 문제해결능력이 완전매개하는 경쟁모형이 더 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 성인 초기의 폭식행동에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인들을 확인하여 폭식행동의 치료 및 예방을 위한 방안을 모색하는데 기초자료를 제공하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to investigate the mediating effects of social problem solving ability in the relationship between emotion expression inability disposition and binge eating behavior in the early adulthood. Thus, from January 3, 2018 to March 24, 2018, this study conducted a questionnaire survey using emotion expression inability disposition, social problem solving ability, and binge eating behavior scales on the subjects of 527 men and women aged 20 to 40 years in their early adulthood in the Seoul metropolitan area. For the data analysis, statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 22.0. The main results of this study are summarized as follows. First, emotion expression inability disposition and social problem solving ability, and binge eating behavior and social problem solving ability of early adulthood showed a significant negative correlation, and emotion expression inability disposition and binge eating behavior showed a significant positive correlation. Second, to investigate the mediating effect of social problem solving ability in the relationship between emotion expression inability disposition and binge eating behavior, in the results of setting up a research model and a competitive model and verifying them, the competitive model fully mediated by the social problem solving ability was found to be more appropriate. The results of this study provide basic data for grasping strategies for the treatment and prevention of binge eating behavior by identifying the main variables affecting binge eating behavior of early adulthood.
