유아교사의 다문화 태도와 문제행동지도효능감이 다문화 유아의 문제행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 다문화 태도와 문제행동지도효능감이 다문화 유아의 문제행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 참여에 동의한 우리나라 어린이집과 유치원 교사 300명을 대상으로 2017년 11월에서 12월 사이에 조사한 본 연구의 결과를 종속변인인 다문화 유아의 문제행동 중심으로 살펴보면, 다문화 유아의 문제행동은 유아교사의 다문화 태도, 문제행동지도효능감과 유의한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 통제변인 산출을 위한 상관분석 결과, 다문화 유아의 성, 다문화 아동의 연령, 교사의 언어에 대한 다문화 유아의 이해 정도, 아동의 언어에 대한 교사의 이해 정도, 교사의 연령을 통제하는 것이 종속변인에 대한 정확한 영향력 파악에 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 통제변인을 통제한 회귀분석 결과 유아교사의 다문화 태도는 다문화 유아의 문제행동에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 문제행동지도효능감은 다문화 유아의 문제행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 본 연구의 결과는 세 변인 간 관계에 대한 이해를 돕고 더 나아가 다문화 유아의 문제행동 예방 및 감소 방안 마련을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the relationship between infant teacher’s multicultural attitude, infant teacher efficacy of guiding children’s problem behavior, and multicultural infants’ problem behaviors in Korea. The participants were 300 infant teachers in Korea. The results showed that multicultural infants’ problem behavior was negatively correlated to infant teacher’s multicultural attitude and infant teacher efficacy of guiding children’s problem behavior. The results of regression were that infant teacher’s multicultural attitude was negatively related to multicultural infants’ problem behavior, and infant teacher efficacy of guiding children’s problem behavior was no significantly related to multicultural infants’ problem behavior, controlling the control variables. These results can be used to understand multicultural infants’ problem behavior and the effect of infant teacher’s multicultural attitude and infant teacher efficacy of guiding children’s problem behavior on multicultural infants’ problem behaviors. In addition, these results can be used to develop imulticultural infants’ problem behavior’s intervention programs in Korea.
