국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 교육 현장에서 2015 개정교육과정의 도입과 함께 교사 전문성 개발의 필요성으로 인해 초·중·고등학교 교사들이 활동하고 있는 전문적 학습공동체의 참여 실태를 조사하고, 발전적 운영 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 서울시 소재 초·중·고등학교 교사들 379명을 대상으로 2017년 12월 1일∼12월 31일까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여 교사에 대한 인센티브 제공 및 자율적 조직 운영을 위한 제도적 뒷받 침이 필요하다. 둘째, 교육지원청 단위의 학교 안과 밖 전문적 학습공동체 네트워크 구성 및 활동 지원이 필요하다. 셋째, 학교 안과 밖 전문적 학습공동체 예산 지원 시스템이 개선되어야 한다. 넷째, 지속적인 학교업무정상화 노력과 지원이 필요하다. 다섯째, 전문적 학습공동체의 필요성과 목적, 운영에 대한 교육 공동체의 공감과 이해가 필요하다. 여섯째, 전문적 학습공동체 속성 및 특성, 교사들의 요구를 반영한 지원이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study seeks to survey the participation of teachers at elementary, middle and high schools in professional learning communities as the 2015 revised curriculum is adopted and the need for developing expertise arises, and to identify productive measures for further development. To achieve the study goals, an online survey was conducted on 379 teachers at elementary, middle and high schools from December 1 to 31, 2017. The findings were as follows. First, there is a need for policies that would provide incentives to teachers to take part in such programs and encourage the autonomous operation of such organizations. Second, support is needed for the composition of professional learning communities and their activities both inside and outside schools uner each education support office s. Third, the budgetary support system for professional learning communities must be improved. Fourth, efforts and support are needed to constantly normalize school work. Fifth, a consensus and understanding on the need, purpose and operation of learning communities are needed. Sixth, support must take into account the traits, characteristics and needs of professional learning communities and teachers.
