제4차 산업혁명 시대의 교육과 유아교사의 역할

국문 초록

본 논문은 제4차 산업혁명으로 일컫는 미래 변화 예측에 따라 새롭게 변화, 강조 되어야 할 유아교사의 역할에 대해 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 우선 제4차 산업혁명의 특징과 그에 따른 교육적 변화 방향을 모색해 보았다. 구체적 내용으로는 미래 인재에게 요구되는 핵심 역량으로 창의적 문제해결 역량, 윤리적 인성의 정서 역량, 소통과 협력의 사회적 교류 역량, 자기 주도적 생애학습 역량의 네 가지를 제시하였다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 새로운 시대의 교육 목적/목표, 교육과정, 교육 내용, 교수-학습 방법, 교육 평가가 나아갈 방향에 대해 논의하였다. 교육 전반의 변화에 따라 새롭게 변화하거나 강조되어야 하는 미래 사회의 유아교사 역할로는 놀이의 관찰/지원자, 탐색과 비판적 사고의 촉진자, 학급 운영의 참여/조정자를 제시하고 각 역할 수행에 필요한 구체적인 실천 방안으로 놀이시간과 환경의 확보 및 관찰, 유아 흥미 중심의 프로젝트 시도 및 고차적 사고기능 촉진 발문, 유아의 참여권을 보장하는 학급 운영이 필요함을 논하였다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to discuss expected roles of early childhood teachers at the era of the fourth industrial revolution. For the purpose, characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution were reviewed, then the direction of educational changes was considered. Specifically, four essential competencies required to the future men of distinguished talent were suggested. The competencies are creative problem-solving competency, emotional competency with moral personality, social interchange competency based on communication and collaboration abilities, and self-initiative lifelong learning competency. In addition, the paper deals with desirable changes of educational paradigm, including educational goals, curriculum, contents, teaching and learning methods, and evaluation Based on the educational changes, expected and/or highlighted roles of early childhood teachers at the new era are considered. According to the roles, which are 1)observing and supporting children s play, 2)fostering children s exploration and critical thinking, and 3)participating and coordinating classroom operation with children, some practical suggestions are made
