유아교육관련 질적연구 동향분석:

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 유아교육분야에서 이루어지고 있는 질적연구의 동향을 분석하여 향후 유아교육분야의 질적연구에서 보다 심도 있고 깊이 있는 연구의 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 2012년도부터 2016년도까지 유아교 육관련분야에서 KCI등재지 43개의 학술지에 게재된 질적연구 논문 289편의 논문을 연도별, 학술지별, 연구주제 및 세부주제, 자료수집방법, 연구대상, 연구기간별 동향을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 국내 유아교육관련분야 연구는 학술지별로의 경향은 나타나지 않았으나 2012년 이후 꾸준한 증가추이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 연구 주제는 ‘교사’, ‘교육과정 및 프로그램’에 치중된 경향을 보인다. 셋째, 자료수집방법에 따른 분석결과는 상호작용적인 방법이 비상호적인 방법에 비해 상대적으로 높은 비율을 나타냈다. 넷째, 연구대상은 최근 5년간 꾸준하게 ‘유아’, ‘교사’가 많았으며 해마다 연구대상의 양상이 다르게 나타났다. 다섯째, 연구기간별 분석결과는 6개월 이하의 질적연구 논문이 88.4% 로 많은 연구가 이 기간 동안 이루어짐을 알 수 있다. 이러한결과를 토대로 유아교육관련 분야에서 질적 연구의 다양한 연구방법과 연구의 향후 과제와 방향성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This research has significance in presenting basic materials to improve in-depth qualitative research in the field of early childhood education by analyzing its current trend in Korea. For this, the trend of 289 qualitative theses on early childhood education, which were registered in 43 KCI academic journals from 2012 to 2016, were analyzed by year, academic journal, research topic and detailed themes, data collection method, research subject and research period. The analysis results are as follows: first, research on early childhood education conducted in Korea showed no difference by academic journal, and has continuously increased since 2012. Second, most research was focused on ‘teachers’ and ‘curricula and programs.’ Third, the analysis according to data collection methods revealed that interactive methods were relatively more than non-interactive methods. Fourth, research topics for the recent 5 years were consistent: ‘children’ and ‘teachers.’ The pattern of research topics was different every year. Fifth, the analysis according to research period showed that qualitative research papers less than 6 months accounted for 88.4%; most research had conducted for the period. Based on the results, this research discussed various research methods and future subjects and directions of qualitative studies on early childhood education.
