국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은, ‘읽기’의 관점에서 고전과 윤리 과목을 조명함으 로써, 이 과목과 관련된 보다 효과적인 교수⋅학습 방법 개발의 초석을 다지는 것이다. 이 목적을 위해 본 연구에서는 먼저 인성의 함양과 고전의 관계에 대해 살펴보고, 고전읽기를 통해 인성의 함양이 가능하다는 점을 확인하였다. 이어서 고전과 윤리 과목과 관련된 읽기 방법의 중요성에 대해 살펴보고, 읽기 방법을 선정함에 있어 고려해야 할 사항들을 언급한 뒤, ‘낭송’과 ‘렉시오 디비나’를 읽기 교수⋅학습 방법으로 제안하고 고찰하였다. 끝으로 고전과 윤리 과목을 가르칠 때 교수⋅학습 방법으 로서의 읽기를 활용하면서 교사가 유의해야 할 사항들을 제시하고, 격몽 요결을 중심으로 ‘낭송’과 ‘렉시오 디비나’를 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지에 대해 개괄적인 수준에서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The objective of this paper is to review the subject Classics and Ethics in the perspective of ‘reading’. It also aims to strengthen the basis for the development of effective teaching⋅learning methods of the subject Classics and Ethics. For this objective, this paper examined the relation between character cultivation and classics, and then verified the fact that character could be cultivated by reading classics. Examining the importance of reading methods of the subject Classics and Ethics, the items that should be considered when selecting reading methods were mentioned, and then ‘Recitation’ and ‘Rectio Divina’ were suggested as important reading methods. Lastly, understanding the matters that should be considered by teachers when using reading as a teaching⋅learning methods, it comprehensively discussed how to apply ‘Recitation’ and ‘Rectio Divina’ focusing on Gyeokmongyogyeol(擊蒙要訣).
