국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내외에서 문화를 관광대상으로 하여 그것을 직접 체험 하는 관광형태인 문화체험숙박에 대한 수요와 공급이 높아지는 시점에 고택, 팬션, 민박 등 국내 문화체험 숙박시설의 서비스 수준을 파악하여 서비스 수준 및 운영방안에 대한 표준운영지침서를 구축함으로서 내외국인 관광객의 높아진 서비스 기대수준을 충족하고 국내외 관광객의 서비스 기대치와의 간극 조절을 위한 해결방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 기존의 사례연구 및 현장조사 등 총체적 기초조사를 바탕으로 국내외 주요호텔의 서비스 및 운영 매뉴얼을 수집, 분석하고 현장조사를 실시하여 한국형 숙박시설에 적용 가능한 매뉴얼 초안을 구성하고자 한다. 이의 개발을 통해 문화체험 숙박시설 서비스의 질적 수준을 향상시키고 국내외 환경변화에 능동적으로 대응함으로서 대내외 경쟁력을 확보하고 서비스경영의 효율성을 높이는데 중요한 역할을 수행할 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

Current trend in one of noticeable tourist behavior is to get a hands on experience especially in cultural experience lodging while travel to both domestic and international destination. Therefore it is the aim of this study to set up a standard operational manual to upgrade a mediocre service and operational scheme of domestic lodging facilities not just to meet but to exceed the expectation of ever increasing demand from customers. To meet the objective of this study, thorough review of related literature was followed by the collection of current operation manuals of domestic hotels which had been reviewed and analysed for further study. Adopting a properly designed and composed service operational manual would certainly enhance the level of service and result in more efficient operation of lodging properties.
