국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니가 인식한 아버지의 양육참여도의 수준에 따른 자폐성장애아동의 사 회지수(SQ)와 사회성숙도의 차이를 살펴보는데 주된 목적이 있다. 자폐성장애로 진단된 서울, 경기, 충청소재의 7∼15세 아동을 자녀로 둔 어머니와 특수학교 교사, 일반학교의 특수학급 교사, 상담기관 치료사를 통해 응답된 125부의 설문자료 중 아버지의 양육참여도가 상위25%에 해당하는 집단과 하위25%에 해당하는 62명을 최종 연구대상으로 선정 하였다. 아버지의 양육참여 수준에 따른 자폐성장애아동의 사회지수(SQ)와 사회성숙도의 각 하위요인에서의 차이를 비교․분석하기 위해 중다변량분석(MANOVA)을 실시하였고 각 하위요인의 차이를 자세히 알아보기 위해 각 종속변인별로 일원변량분석(ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 아버지의 양육참여도가 높은 집단(상)은 자폐성장애아동의 사회지수(SQ)가 유의미하게 높았으며 사회성숙도의 각 하위요인인 자조, 이동, 직업, 의사소통, 자기관리, 사회화에서도 두 집단 간 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 자폐성장애 아동의 사회성을 비롯한 전반적인 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 아버지 의 양육참여를 증진시키기 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 개발하고 제공하는 것의 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the difference in social maturity of children with autism spectrum disorders in relation to father s level of child-rearing involvement. The participants of this study were special school teachers, special class teachers in regular schools, counselors, and mothers of 62 children between the ages of 7 and 15 years old diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in Seoul, Gyeonggi province and ChungCheong province in South Korea. Social Maturity Scale and Father s Child-Rearing Involvement Scale were used for this study. Descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis of variance and analysis of variance were conducted to analyze the data. The findings of this study revealed that father s group with higher level of child-rearing involvement was significantly higher in social quotient(SQ) and subordinate factors of social maturity of children with autism spectrum disorders. SQ and each area of self-help, locomotion, occupation, communication, self-direction, and social relation were different according to father s level of child-rearing involvement.
