영문 초록

Industrial arts is one of the intellectual behaviors that human-beings have pursued with purposes from ancient times to today. Among many jewelry craft is a creative work by both appreciating and ornamenting it. Although jewelry industry in Korea has suffered owe to the financial crisis coupled with IMF, strategies of several local autonomies and metropolitan area for activating the local economy mainly enliven the jewelry industry as a local-specialized industry. Especially, embracing jewelry with pragmatism and convenience other than aesthetic pleasure makes one kind of a trend and in order to achieve this, technical and economical aspects need to be considered. Hence, hand-made jewelry craft of the past is considered as an important element in development of the jewelry industry by adopting advanced technology of micro casting and conceiving various pragmatic ideas. the high level of technology of micro casting for crafting current jewelry and the lack of ideas trigger problems in the jewelry industry. Therefore, the study tries to solve the problems by technically analysing the problems of micro casting in current jewelry shops. Also, the paper tries to broaden the ways to produce the jewelry through conceiving creative jewelry production. By doing these, it aims to invigorate the jewelry industry..
