영문 초록

In this article we construct a price index for vegetables traded in the Garak Agricultural Wholesale Market as a cash price for hedging in the futures market. The index consists of six commodities for Kimchi as defined by CODEX. The price index seems to satisfactorily represent the prices of six commodities in the Kimchi basket. A feasibility analysis suggests that the market represented by the Kimchi price index can be a promising ground for the price hedge using the futures market.
