영문 초록

This paper aims at studying the characteristics of deconstructing poetry in 1980 in the light of the desire of murdering the father. In deconstructing poetry, the father as an object of murder stands for reality in confusion and sterile literary practices. The poets pursuing deconstructing poems regarded the poetry deviated from the conventional customs as poetic thing, which means Korean modem poetry presents radical avant-garde tendencies that were never experienced early in the literary history. Those poets tried positively to accept non -poetical elements excluded from traditional poetics into the poetic field. The way of presenting the poems is to pursue poetic self-consciousness to establish new poetic identity and to accept parody of poetic statement, general statement, metonymy, and everyday experiences. Based on these various ways, they pursue poetic things. In his times, Hwang, Ji -woo mocked unjust political and ordinary reality in his writings like My Farder and Variety in 1984. Park, Nam-cheol showed his interest in discordance between human truth and absurd reality in his following works, Fathers A -frame carrier and Lord Prayer while Jang Jeong-il would criticize frivolous cultural circumstance in Father and Catch a Taxi m the Gilan through feeling of new generation and sexual self-consciousness. Their philosophical and aesthetic attitudes are various. While Hwang Ji-woo had an apollonian attitude standing for hard-headed intellect, Park, Nam-cheol showed his Dionysus attitude for romantic passion. Jang, Jeong-il had a Narcissus attitude for truthful self-inspection. They all rejected sterile poetic rules and tried to search for new poetic methods influencing on developing Korean modem poetry.
