국문 초록

연구배경 : 현대사회의 급격한 변화와 세속적 가치관 속에서 기독교인 부모들은 자녀 양육의 방향성 상실과 영적·심리적 소진을 경험하고 있다. 강의 중심의 단편적 교육을 넘어 부모의 내면과 실제 양육 고충을 심층적으로 다루는 질적 수준의 교육 방안이 절실한 시점이다. 연구목적 : 기독교인 부모들이 자녀 인성교육 과정에서 겪는 갈등과 감정, 대처 방안 등 실제적 경험의 본질을 탐구한다. 이를 통해 수치화하기 어려운 부모의 내면 변화를 이해하고 삶의 현장에 밀착된 진정성 있는 부모교육 모델의 방향성을 도출하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 현상학적 연구 방법론을 채택하여 권사 이상의 신앙 경력을 가진 부모들을 대상으로 개별 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 도출된 핵심 주제를 범주화하여 경험의 본질을 분석하였으며, 문헌 연구를 병행하여 정서 조절 전략과 기독교적 가치의 통합 과정을 고찰하였다. 연구결과 :부모들은 훈육 기준에 대한 고민과 현실적 한계로 무력감을 느끼지만, 기독교적 관점에서 자녀를 바라볼 때 부모 자신의 성숙과 관계 회복을 경험했다. 인성교육은 기술적 훈육보다 부모의 정서 조절과 깊은 공감적 상호작용을 통해 실현됨이 확인되었다. 시사점 : 부모교육은 단순 정보 제공을 넘어 부모가 양육 경험을 성찰하고 치유받는 나눔의 과정이 되어야 한다. 소그룹 중심의 심층 교육 시스템과 실질적인 정서 소통 훈련 프로그램이 강화되어야 하며, 부모의 지속적인 자기 성찰이 인성교육의 핵심임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Background : Amid rapid social shifts and secular values, Christian parents face a loss of direction and spiritual burnout. Thus, qualitative educational approaches addressing parents' inner struggles are urgently needed. Purpose : This study explores the essence of Christian parents' lived experiences, conflicts, and coping strategies in children's character education to derive an authentic, reality-based parent education model. Methodology / Approach : Utilizing a phenomenological methodology, individual in-depth interviews were conducted with experienced Christian mothers (Kwon-sa). Core themes were categorized to analyze their experiences, supplemented by a literature review on emotional regulation and Christian values. Findings / Conclusions : While parents felt helpless due to practical limitations, viewing children through a Christian perspective fostered personal maturity and relational restoration. True character education was achieved through emotional regulation and deep empathy rather than technical discipline. Implications : Parent education should be a transformative sharing process for reflection and healing. This underscores the need for small-group-centered systems, practical communication training, and continuous parental self-reflection.
