국내 장애인 직업재활 질적연구의 최근 동향과 변화: 2018–2025년 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2018년부터 2025년까지 국내 장애인 직업재활 분야 질적연구의 동향을 분석하여 최근 연구의 축적 양상과 특성을 파악하고 향후 연구 방향을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국연구재단(KCI) 등재 학술지 8종에 게재된 장애인 직업재활 관련 질적연구 104편을 분석하였다. 분석은 선행연구의 틀을 확장하여 게재시기, 연구주제, 연구대상, 연구방법, 엄격성 확보, 윤리적 고려를 중심으로 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 질적연구는 2022년 이후 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 연구주제는 고용경험과 고용환경이 주요 영역을 형성하였으며, 디지털 전환과 감염병 대응 등 사회적 변화와 관련된 주제가 일부 등장하였다. 연구대상은 발달장애인과 가족을 포함한 연구가 증가하여 대상의 다양화가 확인되었으며, 연구방법에서는 질적 내용분석이 가장 많이 활용되었고, 비대면 자료수집 방식도 도입되었다. 또한 엄격성 확보전략의 기술과 IRB 승인 보고가 증가하여 연구 윤리의 제도화 경향이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 국내 직업재활 질적연구가 연구주제와 대상의 확장, 연구방법의 정교화, 윤리성 강화 측면에서 질적 성장을 보여주고 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes recent trends in qualitative research on vocational rehabilitation for persons with disabilities in Korea from 2018 to 2025, with the aim of identifying patterns in research development and suggesting directions for future studies. A total of 104 qualitative studies published in eight Korea Citation Index (KCI)–listed journals were analyzed. The analytical framework, expanded from previous research, examined publication period, research topics, research participants, research methods, strategies for ensuring rigor, and ethical considerations. The findings indicate that qualitative research has increased since 2022. Employment experience and employment environment emerged as the dominant research themes, while topics reflecting broader social changes, such as digital transformation and responses to infectious diseases, also appeared. Studies involving individuals with developmental disabilities and family members have increased, suggesting diversification of research participants. Qualitative content analysis was the most frequently used analytical method, and nonface-to-face data collection methods were newly introduced. In addition, increased reporting of rigor strategies and Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval indicates strengthened methodological rigor and research ethics. These findings suggest that qualitative research in vocational rehabilitation in Korea is experiencing notable development in terms of expanded research topics and participants, methodological refinement, and strengthened ethical standards.
