성장 지향 소속욕구, 결핍감소 지향 소속욕구, 사회적 지지, 우울 간 관계: 조절된 매개모형을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 성장 지향 소속욕구, 결핍감소 지향 소속욕구, 사회적 지지, 우울 간 관계에서 조절된 매개모형을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 성인 509명(남자 217명, 여자 292명)에게 소속욕구 지향성 척도, 사회적 지지 다차원 척도, 한국판 역학연구 우울 척도를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 성장 지향 소속욕구가 사회적 지지를 매개로 우울에 미치는 영향이 결핍감소 지향 소속욕구의 수준에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 성장 지향 소속욕구는 결핍감소 지향 소속욕구의 모든 수준에서 사회적 지지에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또 성장 지향 소속욕구가 사회적 지지를 매개로 우울에 미치는 영향은 결핍감소 지향 소속욕구가 높아질수록 더욱 커졌다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점을 논의하였고, 향후 연구의 방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The present study tested a moderated mediation model linking growth-oriented belongingness, deficit-reduction-oriented belongingness, social support, and depression. Participants were 509 adults (217 men, 292 women) who completed the Belongingness Orientation Scale, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and the Korean version of the CES-D. Results showed that the indirect effect of growth-oriented belongingness on depression through social support differed according to levels of deficit-reduction–oriented belongingness. Growth-oriented belongingness positively predicted perceived social support at all levels of deficit-reduction orientation. Furthermore, the indirect effect on depression became stronger as deficit-reduction–oriented belongingness increased. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the present study were discussed, and directions for future research were suggested.
