방 탈출 게임을 활용한 재난 시뮬레이션 기반 전문직 간 교육 프로그램의 효과: 혼합연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호학과와 응급구조학과 3학년 학생이 팀을 이루어 방 탈출 게임을 활용한 구성된 재난 시뮬레이션에서 팀원이 협력하여 문제를 해결하고 각자 역할을 수행하도록 설계하였다. 그 효과는 설문조사로 전문직 간 협력 능력, 전문직 간 체험 학습 자기효능감, 재난대응 핵심수행능력을 파악하고, 실험군의 포커스 그룹 인터뷰로 전문직 간 교육(interprofessional education, IPE) 프로그램 참여 경험을 파악하였다. 일반적 특성은 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차로 분석하고 종속변수의 정규성은 Shapiro-Wilk로 실시하였으며 Kruskal-Wallis test로 집단 간 차이를 분석하였다. 사후분석을 위해 두 집단 간 차이는 Mann-Whitney U 검정 시행한 후 Bonferroni's correction 보정을 적용하였다. 그 결과 방 탈출 게임을 활용한 재난 시뮬레이션 기반 전문직 간 교육 프로그램에 참여한 실험군(32명)이 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 비교군(34명), 대조군(30명)보다 전문직 간 협력 능력과 전문직 간 체험 학습 자기효능감 점수가 높았다. 실험군의 포커스 그룹 인터뷰에서는 ‘전문직 간 협력에 대한 긍정적인 면을 경험함’, ‘타 전문직에 대한 이해가 확장됨’, ‘동료의식과 동반자 관계를 확인함’의 3개의 범주가 도출되었다. 향후 다양한 보건의료계열 학생 간 협력 능력과 자기효능감 향상을 위해 전문직 간 교육(IPE) 프로그램의 확대가 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to examine how 3rd-year nursing and paramedicine students formed teams and worked together to solve problems and perform interprofessional roles in a disaster simulation situation organized in an escape room game. This study was a mixed-methods study that included a quantitative study and qualitative research through focus group interviews. Data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, Kruskal-Wallis test using SPSS/WIN Statistics version 26.0. After the simulation practice, focus group interviews were conducted on the experimental group’s educational experiences, and the following three themes were derived using thematic analysis. As a result of this study, both interprofessional collaboration competency and self-efficacy in the experimental group increased significantly. The analysis of the interviews revealed three categories and six subcategories. The categories were ‘Experiencing the positive aspects of interprofessional collaboration,’ ‘Expanding understanding of other professions,’ and ‘Confirming a sense of camaraderie and partnership.’ In the future, expansion of interprofessional education (IPE) programs will be necessary to enhance collaboration and self-efficacy among diverse health care students and health care professionals.
