한부모가족에 대한 서비스 제공 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한부모가족을 대상으로 서비스를 제공하는 기관 종사자들이 한부모가족을 위해 어떻게 서비스 지원을 하고 있는지를 탐색하였다. 이를 기반으로 한부모가족 관련 서비스 개선방안 마련을 위한 기초적인 자료를 확보하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 한부모가족 관련 서비스를 제공하고 있는 서비스 전문가를 대상으로 FGI를 실시하였다. FGI 연구참여자들은 두 집단으로 구성하였는데, 한 집단은 다양한 유형의 한부모가족복지시설 전문가 집단이고, 다른 한 집단은 한부모가족을 위한 서비스를 제공하는 다양한 유형의 이용시설 서비스 전문가 집단이다. 연구결과, ‘한부모가족의 경험과 특성에 대한 인식’, ‘한부모가족 문제와 욕구에 관한 인식’, ‘한부모가족 서비스 제공의 한계와 어려움’, ‘개선방안에 대한 의견’ 등의 주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 한부모가족을 위한 서비스가 확대되고 있음에도 불구하고 우리 사회에서 다차원적인 문제를 경험하는 대표적인 취약계층으로 인식되는 한부모가족의 서비스 개선을 위해 다양한 유형의 서비스 전문가들의 경험과 인식을 분석했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이를 통해 한부모가족의 특성과 욕구가 어떻게 변화하고 있는지, 서비스 제공에서의 한계는 무엇인지를 통해 개선방안을 도출할 수 있었다. 이를 기반으로 향후 한부모가족 맞춤형 서비스를 위한 통합적 서비스 체계구축에서 다양한 전문가들의 역할과 기능에 관한 심층적 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study explored how service providers providing services to single-parent families provide service support to single-parent families. Based on this, we aim to secure basic data for developing improvement plans for single-parent family-related services. To this end, FGI were conducted with service professionals who provide services for single-parent families. The FGI participants were divided into two groups: one group consisted of professionals from various types of single-parent family welfare facilities(co-living institutions) and the other group consisted of professionals from various types of service facilities that provide services for single-parent families. The following themes emerged from the findings: perceptions of the experiences and characteristics of single-parent families, perceptions of the problems and needs of single-parent families, limitations and difficulties in providing services to single-parent families, and opinions on ways to improve services. The significance of this study is that it analyzed the experiences and perceptions of different types of service professionals in order to improve services for single-parent families, who are recognized as a representative vulnerable group in our society experiencing multidimensional problems despite the expansion of services for single-parent families. Through this study, we were able to identify how the characteristics and needs of single-parent families are changing and what are the limitations in service provision. Based on this, it is hoped that in-depth research will be conducted in the future on the roles and functions of various professionals in the construction of an integrated service system for tailored services for single-parent families.
