재가 고령 장애인 서비스 이용에 관한 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 지역사회에서 살아가고 있는 고령 장애인의 서비스 개발을 위한 기초자료를 수집하기 위해 수행되었다. 질적 연구로서 재가 고령 장애인 관련 업무를 담당하고 있는 사회복지사를 대상으로 진행하여, 지역사회에서 서비스를 받고 있는 고령 장애인의 서비스에 대한 인식 및 경험에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다. 분석 결과, 첫째 고령 장애인에 대한 인식이 부족하여 고령 장애인을 단편적으로 인식하고 있고, 또 장애에 대한 차별이 여전히 존재하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 지역사회에서 새롭게 발견되는 고령 장애인이 증가하고 있지만, 현장에서는 고령 장애인의 특성을 반영하기 어려움이 있다. 셋째, 고령 장애인에 대한 서비스 제공을 위해서는 성공적 노화를 지원하고, 무장애 환경에서 통합될 수 있도록 지원이 필요하다. 또한 고령 장애인의 생애 과정을 함께 하는 가족 및 지역사회에 대한 접근이 요구되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 재가 고령 장애인이 지역사회에서 삶을 유지할 수 있도록 하는 서비스 방향을 모색하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to collect basic data for service development for the elderly with disabilites living in communities. As a qualitative study, it was conducted targeting social workers who are in charge of work related to the elderly with disabilities at home, and discussions were made on the perceptions and experiences of the elderly disabilities receiving services in the community. As a result of the analysis, first, it can be seen that, due to lack of awareness of the elderly, the elderly with disabilities are perceived fragmentarily, and discrimination on disability still exists. Second, although the number of elderly disabled people newly discovered in local communities is increasing, it is difficult to reflect the characteristics of elderly disabled people in the field. Third, in order to provide services to the elderly and disabled, it is necessary to support successful aging and to be integrated in a barrier-free environment. In addition, access to families and communities through the life cycle of elderly disabled people was required. Based on the results of these studies, this study sought a service direction that enables the elderly and disabled at home to maintain life in the community.
